IP address of DNS server 192.16.124.50. I can ping to gateway computer and all computers that have IP address 192.16.126.*, but I can not ping to DNS server. I checked /etc/resolv.conf file and it pointed to correct DNS server. DNS server is no problem because when I switch to W2K or Debian then they run very well.

If your DNS is working properly, the most obvious reason would be that whatever device your pinging from is not referencing that DNS server.
